In Germany it is Tradition to put up the Christmas Tree pretty late in December (I remember from my Childhood putting them up on December 23rd and some Families even put it up on December 24th in the Morning . . .)-but over the past years we kind of broke with that Tradition because-let us face it-it is such a pity to only have that beautiful tree up on display for a couple of Days before it goes back into the Attic (or out on the Street for collecting if you have a real tree) . . .! I really LOVE Christmas Time-all the Decorations, the Lights everywhere, the Tree . . . all of that . . . it makes everything look so warm & friendly & cozy . . . so if it would be for ME-I could already put the tree up Mid-November . . . BUT . . . well-we usually wait till December has arrived-but then: Treetime 🙂 So we put up our beautiful white Christmastree yesterday and I just LOVE it! So the December Daily Artjournal Page for December 2nd is about setting up our tree . . . again-a mix of Journaling & some Watercolor Artwork . . . hope you will like it!
Do you have your Tree up already? Or when do you plan on setting it up?!?

ooh, can’t wait to go through the video! love this sketch/journal page!
Beautiful pages. I think most Americans put their trees up fairly early to enjoy them. (I think Halloween is TOO early though) When I lived in Germany as an exchange student my German parents put the tree up on Christmas Eve and lit candles on the tree. It was beautiful, but I’d rather enjoy it for several weeks.
So beautiful! A white tree……..must be wonderful!
I have not put up my tree…but watching this is helping me to get the Christmas spirit. Thank you.
Einmalig!
Absolutely beautiful watercoloring! Love your tree!
Just beautiful. Love it. Thanks for sharing this.
