Peerless Watercolors-Pallette-Book 2 Go

Peerless Wasserfarben Aquarellfarben

They came packed like that-in vintake music sheets-isnt that the cutest wrapping?

For many many month I wanted to order the Peerless Watercolors-always asking myself “Do I REALLY (I mean REALLY) need them?” . . . well-I finally decided I DO need them and gave in. I placed my order with Peerless in the US and 2 weeks later my package arrived-YAY-right in time for Summer-because that was the main reason why I did decide that I indeed need them-I just love the fact that they are flat and lightweight-and you can easily take them along with you to draw & paint outside in the Garden, on Vacation, at the Beach-wherever you want.

Peerless Watercolors Book portable how to

Bought those 3 Sets . . . they’re AMAZING . . .

I saw on Pinterest that somebody glued small snipets of the Watercolors directly into the front Cover of their ArtJournal so you always have your Color Pallette with you and LOVED that Idea. I was thinking about the best Way for me to create my own “Pallette 2 Go” and finally had the perfect idea (well-for me *lol*)-I used an old Photo-Leporello-Book-altered it from the outside to make it look a little more artsy-glued in 2 sheets of acetate (overhead Foil) to the Inside (so the Colors will not transfer to eachother when you close the Book) and you can also use the Acetate sheet as a mixing Pallette-then whipe any excess off with a papertowel before closing it.

Then I used my 1 Inch Punch to punch out small squared of each & every color (which took me a while with over 60 different colors)-sorted them by color (which wasn’t that easy since the color of the paper of course does not match the color you get when using it-so I had to swatch each of them-then note down each name-then sort them-then I created a Grid with the Color-Names on the PC-printed it out-and finally assembled everything-glued in the punched squares and swatched each color underneath the square. It took me about 4 hours from start to finish BUT it was so worth the time because I really LOVE my portable “Peerless Watercolor Pallette-Book 2 Go” 🙂

Already took it to the Lake and to the Garden with me-just the Pallette, 2 Aqua-Brushes and my Artjournal-and you are ready to go. Love that-so easy!!! And Besides that fact I truly ADORE the colors-they are so high pigmented, vibrant and lovely-you really want to dive in right away . . .! So if you-like me-wondered if you really need them . . . I can absolutely recomment them-they’re heaven on a small piece of paper 😉

I have been so inspired by your videos I have watched everyone of them sometimes a couple times and try to paint along with you . I have just recieved my peerless in the mail but i am having alot of difficulty trying to organize them by the colors and names. My pallette is all complete now i just have to put the paint papers on i have some trouble as i am somewhat color challenged lol. I have tried to save the picture of your pallette and enlarge it but when i do the names blur . I guess what i am asking is if it not to much to ask if you could take a close up of the pages of your pallette that would help me tremendously in my task of completing this portable pallette so i can finally paint with them. its putting them in the rainbow order i am having trouble with thank you so much for all your videos i know the amount of time put into them is sometimes taken for granted by us watchers we dont consider the editing and everything else that goes with it ..love your giggles they alway make me smile and put me in a better crafting moodReplyCancel

    Andrea,
I have just ordered my Pretty in Pink set (I have the other two) and want to make a palette like yours. I’m going to look for the Photo-Leporello-Book tomorrow. If I have to make my booklet, what would you suggest. . . watercolor paper (300 #), hinged with washi tape? I have the acetate sheets. Would you be willing to send my your PDF file? I would be most appreciative.
I also just liked you on FB and downloaded your app.
Going to go look at your classes.
    Thank you,
    AnnReplyCancel
