But for now . . . let us start with Wendy’s beautiful Projects . . .
I have had so much fun creating with the new limited edition Planner Girl stamp set and have created three different planner set ups that will hopefully inspire you to use your stamp set to decorate your planner. In each planner I have created a set which includes a dashboard, paperclips, sticky note holder and a ribbon page marker. In one set I also share with you how to use the Planner Girl stamp set to make a matching divider set. Today I am sharing the Black and White Stripe personal/medium sized planner.
The Dashboard was made on white card stock and Tim Holtz Distress Paint in black (with dabber top). On the front of the dashboard I made stripes and on the back dots. This was super easy to do because of the paint dabber that comes on the top of the bottle takes all the hard work out of making stripes and dots. After the lines and dots had dried I used Clear Wink of Stella Pen on the stripes to add a bit of shimmer and then laminated the dashboard.
After stamping the planner girl on white cardstock with black ink, I coloured her with a variety of Gelatos, Neocolor 2 crayons and watercolour pencils then fussy cut her out. The word “plannergirl” and banners were stamped in Versamark Ink and heat embosses with pale gold embossing powder. For the 3 x 4 and Sticky Note holder card I used a variety of Heidi Swapp Color Shine Sprays on a piece of acetate and smooched them on white cardstock. I added splatters of Color Shine which gave the cards extra bling and texture. I finished by layering a variety of papers to create a cluster with the planner girl on top and then I used double sided tape to adhere it to the dashboard.
