I did it again . . . 2 more books to feed my addiction *lol* (hey . . . I wasn’t planning to order those books-but I had to order a CD for René over at Amazone.de . . . and OF COURSE I had to add one (or two) books to save the postage-right?!?) . . .
So . . . those two books just arrvied on satuday and they’re both pretty cool! it is
Chicken Soup for the Scrapbooker’s Soul and
Designer Scrapbooks with Brenda Walton
Both are definitely worth the money . . . the Brenda Walton book is simply sweet, filled with tons of creative, victorian- & vintage-styled Layouts and ideas . . . so if you like this style, it is definitely worth checking it out!!!
And the Chicken-Soup for the Scrapbookers Soul book . . . it is absolutely amazing-a wonderful, heartwarming collection of many many short-stories right out of the life of many scrapbookers. There are stories in there for everybody . . . some absolutely hilarious & funny-some make you think and are very sad . . . and everything inbetween! I have only read about 10 of the stories so far but I LOVED each one of them and I am super-duper looking forward to read the rest of the book ASAP!!! So-if you like short-stries, which are pretty easy-going (perfect bedtime-lecture) and love to read stories out of other scrapbookers lifes, then you should definitely get this book . . . it is GREAT!!!!
