. . . yesterday the dream of "football-germany" winning the cup found a sudden end . . . they played sooo good for 118 minutes and THEN it happened . . . Italy got 2 goals within 2 minutes . . . GAME OVER . . . we are not in the final game . . . well . . . it is sad . . . but I think the german team did a GREAT job during all the games and we should keep on being proud of them . . . I will keep my flag on my car nevertheless . . . HEY . . . "Die Welt ist immernoch zu Gast bei Freunden!!!" . . . so I really can not understand WHY people are immediately taking off their flags-those flags they proudly displayed over the last couple of weeks . . . on saturday the german team will fight for the 3rd place . . . YOU GO GUYS . . . we can make THAT!!! (and hey . . . put that flag back on your car-right now!!!)
Anyway . . . the end was not sooo cool-but the game yesterday was fun . . . Debbie, René and me, we watched the game at a public viewing place in the city of Berlin and we had a wunderful, fun time . . . the athmosphere was terrific, everybody was in a great mood and all dressed up and it was soooo cool . . . even Debbie enjoyed it very much-usually yesterday-being an american-she would have celebrated the 4th of july "wearing the american flag" . . .. so it was kind of fun that yesterday she wore the german flag instead . . . and I think she enjoyed it as much as celebrating the 4th of july at home :o)
