Here I am-back at work. The weekend went by way to fast again-but I have got a couple of things on ym TO-DO-LIST done . . . even cleaned the whole house (yesss-I did it all)!
We took some adorable pictures of our newest family-member on saturday . . . this is Dajana-our new Guinea-Pig . . . we just bought her 2 weeks ago-unfortunately she is sick (the vetenarian said, she must has been sick already when we bought her *sob*) . . . so we are giving her some medicine and hope it’ll get better . . . that’s the bad part about having pets . . . they bring a lot of joy to ones lifes, but they get sick or die and then it is really hard when you can not help them . . . we already lost so many of our pets in the past and it is always really frustrating to let them go . . . but that’s the way life goes . . . still hard to believe that this little guy here with only 7 weeks old is seriously ill and probably will not recover :o( Well . . . we do not give up hope . . .
Like I already said on friday-saturday we went to the Birthday-Party of Renés cousine and it was really fun. We met many of Renés old friends and it was nice talking to them and having some fun together. They played really great music all night long and we danced a lot and had pretty much fun!!! Inge brought Curly Sue along . . . poor little doggie-the music was pretty loud but Curly did not seemed to be bothered by it :o) She is such a cutie and she definitely was the star of the evening-travelling from lap to lap-everybody wanted to cuddle with her and the little girls had fun playing with her.
Did I mention the yummy buffet they had that night?!? It was soooo delicious and really beautifully set up . . . I ate quite to much but tried to stick to the vegetables & fruits mostly :o) does not that melon-pig just looks to cool?!?
On sunday we went to a concert in a shopping-center close to the town we live-it was pretty over-crowded so we just stood in the back of the stage and enjoyed the music instead of jumping right into the crowd . . . my mom went with us and Renés parents had been there too . . . and I was the one who had to take care of Curly Sue again while Renés mom stood right in front of the stage litening to Andy Borg and clapping & singing along :o) Once again-poor Curly Sue . . . so much music this weekend for such a little dog *g* . . .
On sturday a letter from our phone-company arrived, letting us know that we can NOT have a DSL-connection for the internet any time soon, since DSL is not yet available in our street :o( What a bummer . . . I was so much looking forward to having internet at home again and NOW THAT :o( They put us on a waiting-list but can not tell yet when it will be available . . . "GREAT" NEWS :o(((
