DIY: quick Flower Pots and cute Lightbulb Banner

You know that Feeling when some things just take on their own life? You do not actually plan something but then you just do it and it turns out pretty cute? That’s exactly one of those Projects . . . I did not planned that AT ALL . . . it just kind of fell into place . . . first I grabbed the little Poinsessia while doing the Groceries in the Morning-I did not had one for years, because of our 3 Cats and those Poinsettias being poisoning for cats-and I am always uber-careful when it comes to things like that (you could even call me paranoid) . . . but this little one (and another one which I bought too-it is PINK-HELLO???) was just to cute NOT to take it with me . . . so . . . I am gonna give it a place where the cats do not get in contact with it . . .

Next Problem . . . it is cute-BUT-I did not had any nice Pots that small and did not wanted to go out again buying some (not even sure where to find some that small)-so-I had to make some . . . I took some Glasses and wrapped some Aluminium Foil around it, then just added some Washitape . . . quick & simple yet really cute-and you can re-use the glasses afterwards  🙂

Then I created my Printables which I shared yesterday and there was this cute Lightbulb Sketch and this made me remember those little green Lightbulbs my dear friend Nathalie Kalbach gave me in May when we met at the Ostseescrap . . . so-I went looking for them (and found them after “only” 15 minutes of searching *lol*) . . . and created this cute little Banner for my Poinsettia . . . 🙂  Makes me so happy to look at it-cuteness galore-and I am thrilled I finally put those cute little Lightbulbs to use . . .

you need the printed Banner, 2 wooden sticks, little lightbulbs & bakers twine (plus clear tape)

just roll the edges of the banner around the wooden sticks and adhere with clear tape on the back

thread the mini lightbulbs to a string of bakers twine, then also glue to the back of the banner with clear tape

Hope you like this little Project as much as I do . . . nothing fancy but I thought I would share it anyways . . .  🙂
