Soooo . . . are you all ready for December? All ready for the “most wonderful time of the Year”? I am . . . we have already set up the tree today (will share soon-still some finishing touches to add)-we hung pretty lights everywhere, the Advent Wreath is ready for the first Candle to be lit tomorrow-we have even been baking the first Christmas Cookies already (will share them too in another Blogpost because they turned out so cute *lol*) . . . AND . . . I have finished preparing my December Daily Artjournal-yay me *lol* . . . so I am all ready to start my daily Pages on Monday December 1st.
Again-I already mentioned that in my Video Newsletter-I will not (like last year) be able to share a Video of my Pages each & every Day-but I will definitely share my Pages (daily on Instagram and every couple of Days here on the Blog) and will also try to do a Video of a couple of Pages or a little Tutorial or something-so check back often during December or just sign up to receive my Blogposts via eMail (in the Box at the bottom of this Post) so you do not miss anything!
My December Daily for this year is a ballchain bound Burlap Album (Din A5 Size) and I love that I can add & rearrange Pages as I go and fill the Album-I can also add extra Pages or other Memorabilia-love it . . . can not wait to start to fill the Journal 🙂
So . . . are you playing along? Do you do a December Daily Artjournal (or December Daily Scrapbook or Mini Album or whatever) too? What do you plan on filling the Pages with?!? I think mine will be a good mix of everything-Sketches, Drawing, Paintings, Artjournal Pages, Photo-Pages, Journaling . . . whatever fits my time-scedule and my mood that Day . . . 🙂
BTW-you can see all Posts of last Years December Daily Artjournal 2013 HERE . . .
So . . . here is my finished December Daily Artjournal 2014 and some step-by-step Photos of how I made it . . .
And I wanted to send a big THANK YOU to those of you who left so lovely Comments on my last Blogpost (here) and to all of you who send eMails or Messages . . . it really makes me happy to see that so many of you are with me on what I wrote, that you understood my point of view and that you where able to relate-and it was also good for me to read some reasons why some people comment less or not at all-also helps me see and understand “the other side” . . . thanks so much for all your kind words, they really mean a LOT to me and now I know again WHY I am doing what I am doing! Sometimes it is just best to follow your heart and if something’s bothering you-get it off your chest and out into the world-people will listen, people will understand and people can relate to all kinds of human feelings . . . new perspectives will open and it just feels good sometimes 🙂
I’m so going to join you on the daily December journal. Thank you for all the things you do!

Oh my I love the cover!! I did last year art journal with you and only had it out this week looking at it again with my boys. So I will be watching your Instagram posts for this years!!! I might even incorporate my sketch your life class with my daily December art journal.
i am a therapist and am hoping to use the skills I am learning from you to help people heal. I loved last years December daily and bought bags yesterday so I can make one. I think I will bind it with rings so I can move the pages around.
Thank you so much for all that you do! It feeds my soul and refreshes my spirit .
Ooooh! I’m so excited to follow your December journal. Thank you for sharing the process of making the cover, it’s super cute and you inspired me to get my sewing machine out and make a journal of my own. Awesome! Mega thanks 🙂 xo
Hurrah! I know I won’t be doing a daily page, but I’m determined to do at least a bit of a Holiday Journal, too! I LOVE seeing your pix and vids, Andrea!
wow what a wonderful work!! I first decided to do a december daily but now I think I won’t find the time. I still have a whole lot a lot of work to do, bake cookies, creating christmas cards, buying presents… But I’m really looking forward to see your filled pages and mayby I will find some inspiration for my christmas cards ;). Thanks so much for all your inspiration!!
Love this idea- I’m going to plan to do this next year! And I am smitten with that burlap cover!!!
